Vegetable Beef Noodle Soup
* 1 can diced tomatoes - 28oz
* 1 package onion soup mix
* 1 can peas & carrots - 19 oz
* 2 cups chopped steak/beef
* salt - 1 tablespoon
* pepper to taste. (about 1 tablespoon)
* dried basil - 2 tablespoons
* 1 clove garlic chopped - about 1 teaspoon
* 4 tablespoons condensed beef soup base
* 1 jar tomato pasta sauce
* 2 1/2 cups egg noodles
Fill a large soup pot with
water, add salt, bring to a boil. Add 1 pk onion soup mix, 1
can peas & carrots drained, 2 tablespoons basil, 4 tablespoons
beef soup base, pasta sauce, simmer. While the broth is simmering,
chop and cook beef then add to broth with any liquids. Add pepper.
Bring it all to a rolling boil then add noodles. Simmer until
noodles are cooked. Remove from heat, allow to cool for 5 minutes
then serve.
