Tea Basics 101 - Tea Type or Taste, How Do You Choose?

With over 3000 different varieties of tea in the world, how do you choose? Do you choose by the particular type of tea, or do you choose by the taste you like best? Based on the methods used in production, tea can be divided into four different types: black, oolong, green and white tea. And with each different type of tea there comes very distinct characteristics and flavors.

Seeds That Heal

Some of the seeds I'll be talking about are probably in your spice rack right now. Seeds can be very useful as flavoring agents, though many have to be ground to be useful. They also have properties that might be a bit surprising.

Is the water collected by rain barrels are safe to drink? Can they be used to dispense beverages such as iced tea or lemonade? These questions are always been asked by several rain barrel users.

Remove Redness from Blemishes - by L. Hudgins

To remove redness from blemishes and to lessen inflammation (aspirin is Salicylic Acid). I take a couple of aspirins, soften them in a cup with about 2 teaspoons of cold water. I then blend to make a grainy paste. I pat this on the blemish. I usually keep it on overnight or while I clean house. I then rinse to remove and apply make-up as usual. If you are allergic to aspirin in any form, it might be a good idea to check with your doctor or avoid using this method.
